0800 Hornby Support Line
Do you need support with a problem you’re facing, or advice on where to go for help? Or do you need a listening ear as you hash out a challenge in your life?
Our 0800 Hornby Support Line can be freely accessed by anyone in the community looking for locally based support. We can provide a listening ear, social connections and a wide range of community based support.
About the support line
The support line is run In partnership with the Hornby Community Centre, the Greater Hornby Residents’ Association, Salvation Army Hei Hei, Citizens Advice Bureau Hornby and 126 On The Corner.
It was initially set up to support households isolating with Covid-19, providing advice and support or those feeling isolated, as well as help with practical needs like transport to vaccination centres or isolation packs for those quarantined at home. In 2023, the decision was made to continue the service as a general support line.
